Brett Bina, CFA, CAIA

Portfolio Manager

Brett’s goal is to provide clients with the highest level of client service coupled with a financial planning-led investment philosophy that emphasizes risk management and tax-deferred income. A CFA and CAIA charter holder, he is currently a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor at Prescott Financial.

 

Brett joined Prescott Financial in 2023 and has over 16 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Prescott, Brett managed trust and retirement portfolios for high-net-worth clients at St Petersburg-based Sabal Trust. He has also worked for Northern Trust, and Mid-Continent Capital, a registered investment advisor in Chicago.

 

He has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 2020 with his wife and young daughter and elderly mutt. Brett is active in his community and sits on the board of directors at the Institute for Strategic Policy Solutions, a Pinellas County-based public policy forum. Brett is also a longtime financial writer and has been published by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and the CFA Society of Chicago.
