Benjamin Prescott founded Prescott Financial in 2017 with the goal to introduce a Purpose driven approach to financial planning. Following his tenure in the financial industry, he set out to create a fresh model built on a collaborative, transparent, and compassionate method of practice.
Ben, a Florida native, graduated from Florida State University with a double major in Finance and Multi-National Business Operations, and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, where he focused in Advanced Finance and Marketing.
Ben began his career in 2008 with AXA Advisors, focusing on retirement planning and asset management. In 2010, Ben was invited to join an Elite Producer Group, where he was named partner, and as subsequent, obtained a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional designation. After 11 years with AXA, Ben decided to make the move to an Independent Broker-Dealer where he now runs his practice. Through his passion for helping others, Ben has been recognized as a nationally ranked top producer and selected as Tampa Bay Business Journal’s top 30 Under 30.
Outside of the office, Benjamin is involved in the community where he serves on the boards of Hernando County Education Foundation, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay.
